Winter Bash Potluck -
Saturday, February 27th University Unitarian Church
– 6556 35th Avenue NE 6:30pm – 9:30 pm Join your PTCC friends for the first Bash of 2010. Come for the
great food and catch up on the winter-boater-babble or is that
winter-boater-skier-babble. The Club provides a selection of
non-alcoholic beverages, plus beer and wine. You bring a favorite
potluck dish. Please bring your own plates, cups and flatware to
reduce waste. Adult admission is $7; kids are free. Bash activities will include a film festival (see article this newsletter for details), trip leader awards and, if you’ve surplus paddle gear, bring it for the Gear Swap. The
annual Wiener and marshmallow roast will be held on FEBRUARY 20.
It was originally scheduled for February 27 which is the
date of our Bash. We
want everyone to have time to prepare those great dishes for the
bash’s potluck dinner. Member
Seth Jefferds invites us to stop at his property along the river
where he had lots of wood and builds a great fire.
Wieners, including non-meat, and buns and marshmallows will
be provided. The river is rated as easy class 2. Let Don Bottles know that you are coming. |
