– Introduction to Whitewater Canoeing will be offered Wednesday April
16th,
lake session Saturday and Sunday April 19th and 20th on river. This class is oriented towards solo and tandem
canoeists who are interested in becoming better at paddling easy rapids

the basics of reading water and basic whitewater paddling
techniques. The class is
designed to be an extension of the moving water class.
You should
already have

position so you must have kneepads. You must wear an acceptable
helmet while on the river. Wetsuits and thigh straps are
recommended.
